ASSEMBLY'96 - Special Coverage by Abduction Organizing dudes
Yeayea, we know...
Assembly'96 was three months ago and this production is a bit
late. But, you see, we had problems. We were very disappointed
because this "Special Coverage" wasn't released a day after
Asm'96 as we planned and we got fed up with this project...
And it shows! Please don't judge us based on this only.
There is nothing special in this production and it definitely
doesn't cover anything. :) Enjoy the pics, anyway.
Abduction Organizing? What's that?
Yes, Abduction Organizing. That would be a damned stupid name
for a demogroup, wouldn't it? Abduction Organizing just isn't
a demogroup. We're just a bunch people who are involved in
organizing a party called Abduction. We just decided to make
this party report under 'Abduction Organizing' label as being
part of it was common to all of us (Makrus, Coldcut, Synapse
and Mainframe).
About the program:
This program uses VESA mode (640x480x256) even though it may
not look like it. :) It supports both GUS and SB. Mouse seems
to be required (I think I said otherwise, Mainframe :)).
Some corrections:
- Some screens are not in a right order... As said before,
never mind the texts and timeline :)
- Coma's coder is Virne, not Verne. Sorry, Virne
- The pervert-looking weirdo isn't really a pervert. He's
just a weirdo - and a damned good one
- The credits are not complete as the photos were taken by
many guys - we don't even know who (at least one of them
was Jukka "Juke" Kärki).
Butcher / Abrasion Inc. lent the digital camera to some
other people too (like Zorlim / Net Generation) and we
suspect that some of his and our photos were mixed. We
don't mind and hopefully he doesn't mind either.
PMODE/W 1.22 (which was used in this prog) has been made
by Tran and Daredevil. Keep up the good work, guys!
- When you read the texts you may get an idea that all prods
sucked. This is absolutely not true. Three months ago, at
Asm'96 and right after it, it felt like prods were nothing
spectacular. It took a few weeks to realize how excellent
demos were actually released (like Machines of Madness or
Toasted).
The obligatory greetings part:
Abduction Organizing wishes only the best to...
...everybody who were at Asm'96 - spiritually or physically.
...other party organizers (Assembly, Skenery, Demolition,
Juhla, etc).
...you for downloading this silly production.
Signed,
Markus Aurala
for Abduction Organizing
Ps. Oh dear, I almost forgot... There WILL be Abduction'97! :)
Trust me. Trust us. There definitely will be Abduction'97!
Äh, mä lähen kotiin...
